If Pacquiao Margarito was $40, I may consider it, but the days of me paying $50+ on anything HBO does a 24/7 for are over. I've done that whole thing, and the ends do not justify the means.

I understand the argument against the PPV, but Id rather pay $50 and watch it than save $50 and not watch it. I'll be watching all the cards this weekend for free also.

        OR.......

        Card 2
Juan Manuel Lopez vs. Rafael Marquez
        Allan Green vs. Glen Johnson
Zab Judah vs. Lucas Martin Matthysse
        Robert Guerrero vs. Vicente Escobedo

Please note that the second card is all the major fights this weekend that are being aired for free on HBO and Showtime.

This is exactly why I don't buy a lot of PPVs. It's the same action I get for free with my HBO and Showtime subscriptions. The only difference is usually 1 or 2 superstar fighters. Other than that, the undercards of PPV traditionally is no better than what we get for free.

        Thoughts?
I'd pay for both cards the first card just to see how Pac does against Margs and to see Guillermo in action.

Now the second card is is just a freak combination of two networks starting off their winter season with a ****. This weekend's fight lineup is just awesome...I can't wait. Next weekend, I'm inviting some friends over to watch the fights so they will help buffer the hit to my wallet.

Bob Arum and promoters love you. I don't fault this outlook. If you're willing to spend the money and catch all the boxing you can, I respect that. It helps the sport overall.

I feel bad for those that pay for PPV, no matter how good or bad the card is.

I have regretted nearly every PPV I ever bought.

Cotto-Pacquiao was a good fight that I enjoyed, but the undercard was terrible on that PPV. So even though I felt I got my $$$ worth for the main event, I still felt a bit ripped off.
