i wouldve loved to see a prime margarito in the gym for a whole camp.....i dont like him, but man, theres so many stories about his legendary overtraining that im curious to see how hard he trained...

Margarito is a pillowfist.

What people always fail to acknowledge is that Margarito cannot punch for his life. This is why his record is suspect and people are certain he's been cheating for a while. Punching power comes from speed and weight behind the punch, nothing else. Margaito is a slow arm puncher... this isn't a good combination for power punching. People will say that Margarito's pressure is what knocks people out, put come one, you need more than that. If Paulie Malinaggi was a pressure he wouldn't have as many KO's as Margarito.

i just got done watching margarito/cotto on HBO demand...margarito looks slow. the only time when margarito seems to explode is when he got cotto in trouble against the ropes...but before that, cotto was beating margarito via boxing and moving, just what mosley did to margarito...and what pac will do to margarito.

btw, alot/most of margaritos body shot to cotto looked sluggeshly thrown and didnt seem like something to fear.

I don't know if you noticed but Williams himself landed about a million punches on Margarito and didn't do anything to his face while in other fights has left his opponents in shambles. So what Williams is loading his wraps now?
