Fact is, he was #1 at WW and had DOMINATED Marg. How was Marg weight drained? His last 8 fights before that were at WW. Are you saying he was weight drained in those fights too? Give him credit where it's due.

Margarito had to lose 35 pounds in about a month for the fight with Mosley. Do you realize how much weight that is in so short a time? That's the very definition of weight drain.

All this was revealed on the first episode of 24/7. And you're still overlooking the fact that margarito didn't have his plaster, which made him the fighter he was, which ranked mosley the way he was ranked.. on top of Margarito being weight drained.

floyd wanted a 14 day cut off the first time. pac agreed to that and more the second time and floyd still refused to fight him which confirms that he never wanted the fight in the first place.

It was a big deal to retire in his prime without fighting Cotto and Marg. Cotto was undefeated, young, and strong with good boxing skills. Arum was trying to make the Marg fight because he knew it would be good. Then he retires, both guys get beat and he returns. What did he think people would say.

The same goes for his fight selections in the second half of his carreer. I look at him and all I can see is how much better he could have been.

That's Marg's fault, you're really gonna take away from Shane because Marg is too lazy to cut weight?

Obviously Marg is gonna bring up the excuses, what do you think he's going to say? 'Mosley outclassed me and is clearly the superior fighter'? You don't know if Marg used the plaster in previous fights so there's no point in making baseless accusations.
