Fighters aren't the same after fighting the Klitschkos

Look at the evidence, Lewis retired, Peter looks washed up, Chagaev was destroyed by Wlad and looks a shadow of the talent he was. The list goes on and on. Will Eddie Chambers ever be the same? Calvin Brock retired. The Klitschkos are taking souls.

    Truth

People won't know how good the brothers were until they're long retired

Opinions of people who don't like them on a personal level or think they're "boring" mean a lot now, but as time goes by, people will look at the raw stats of what these guys did to unbeaten fighters and proven veterans alike and go ".....holy ****"

The division is CLEANED OUT like few have ever been. Everyone in the rankings has either lost to them or is ducking them.

And without them there exposing everyone else? We'd think one of these suckers they beat is the baddest guy on the planet.

They actually have pretty much completely cleaned out the division. Just the duck Povetkin, fat mess Solis and unproven Boytsov right now. Hopefully Pulev can get a title shot soon.

Most of their wins are by a stoppage before a long demoralizing beating where their opponent took so much punishment and was shown to be an inferior fighter in many aspects.

I disagree with the Lewis part, he was semi-retired anyway.

true, and lewis was on a level with the klitschkos, whereas the opposition both lorded over was 1 step below

however remember that he was supposed to fight kirk johnson (who he probably would have walked through), and planned to have a few fights after that

having vitali come out of nowhere on short notice, beat Lewis on the score cards, and only winning via the doctor had to have a sobering effect, especially since he would be getting worse and vitali would be getting much better. Retirement had to seem like a more appetizing option.

I still dont know why many dont recognize both brothers as top 8 P4P boxers. I just dont see 8 boxers right now better than them.

Most fighters aren't the same after being KO'd. Doesn't make the Klits special, that's just the way it is.

i could rationalize having them in the top 5 p4p in that big drop right after 1. pac 2. may

however "p4p" means a lot of different things to different people and they DO weigh 250 lbs. Is their talent regardless of size top 5 p4p? Maybe. Their styles are awkward and sometimes ugly, but they still make more conventional fighters look ****** and harmless with scary consistency.

Hmm I'm not in total agreement with this.

Lewis had done it all and had lost the love for the game.

Brock had a serious eye problem that forced him to retire.

Chagaev had hepatitus which can affect the body for a long period of time, even after being cleared up.

I agree the way they break them down, punishing stoppages can be soul destroying but there are mitigating factors if one chooses to see them.
