The Margarito offer was NOT a one-fight deal.

Initially Floyd AGREED to Arum's offer.....but...........

He wanted 20 mil for Oscar

10 million for Hatton

!0 million for Cotto


Arum refused by stating:

"Floyd is delusional..."

Mayweather left Top Rank in the dust to become one of the highest paid boxers in history.

Looking back....Floyd's counter-offer was REASONABLE..

Arum screwed himself badly...and missed out on MILLIONS.

After ODH he made Hatton come up in wight to fight. Then retired.

that offer to fight baldomir came after floyd rejected a career high payday to fight maragarito. floyd had no idea he would be offered that much to fight baldomir when he turned down margarito.

baldomir is not tall or long like margarito and he also has no power and doesn't throw as many punches. other than that.............yea same thing!

Actually Shaw offered Baldomir right after. Mayweather tried to play Shaw and Arum off each other, but Shaw knew the deal and offered only one dollar more.

You don't know your a$$ from a whole in the ground...Yeah Arum offered him 8 million to fight AM...but Floyd was also offered 8 million and 1 dollar to fight Carlos Baldomir who was the undisputed welterweiht champ at the time coming off a win over Judah...Baldomir had the belts...why the **** would you fight AM who was a nobody back then...and frankly is a nobody now...And just point out something else...Baldomir is pretty much same style fighter as AM...tall and comes forward but slow as hell...Did you watch the Mayweather vs Baldomir?

If margo was nobody, why in hell would Arum offer floyd 8million dollars $$$ just to fight a nobody?

doesn't this prove what a duck it was? asking for 10 million to fight cotto who was still at 140. come on that's not realistic at all and he knew it. he didn't want any part of margarito so he made insane demands that he knew wouldn't be met. and when cotto moved up to 147 and would have made him much more than 10 million dollars he tucked tail and fake retired thus proving he was full of hot air.

How were they insane. He broke away from Arum and made the Hatton and ODLH fights happen, and he made more money for each fight than what he wanted in his so called INSANE demands. Arum would have walked away with over 10 mil in his pocket if he made Floyd vs ODLH vs Hatton happen @ the price Floyd wanted.

It's time for a reality check chump.
