he didnt. floyd ducking margarito is one of the biggest myths in boxing, it has no foundation whatsoever and only mainstream fans that havent followed the sport closely believe it.

it would be a very easy fight for floyd, tony doesnt have the speed or skill to catch him consistently or the power to hurt him with one punch. floyd has enough stamina to box all night, it would be a shut out. tony brings nothing to the table at all when matched up with floyd.

Anyways, he should had never fought Zab, should of fought Baldo instead and then fight Marg or vise versa.

Either way he avoided Marg. And, that is all there is to it.
Margarito exposed Floyd for what truly he is which is a COWARD. After the Castillo fight, Floyd was more on paper chasing picking easy money fights. I mean he could challenge himself more but he did not. I remember about his HIT List when he came back and his apologist got so excited. It turns out, he made easy money with some old farts who was too small for him and another one who's past it. And pulled out another excuses on him fighting what people want to see. He's basically robbing a lot people and his apologist ares too gullible to care.

He then gave out a contract out where Zab got paid less money of what originally agree. To which proves there were no contract signatures. Hell at the time Floyd was thinking of fight Cory Spinks instead of Judah. But, Spinks didn't want the fight or couldn't make 147 or something like that. So Floyd went back to Zab.

He could of fought Baldo and damn sure he could of fought Marg. But, the dude avoided the hell out of Marg. So it is what it is. Why his fans make excuses on why is ridiculous.
im pretty sure i never said he didnt avoid margs. im just saying there wasnt any need for him to fight him. my point is margs was high risk low reward. business wise, floyd made the right decision. my other point is if zab hadnt lost to baldo, there would be no talk of floyd avoiding margs. just like zab losing to baldo made ppl insane enuff to believe floyd was avoiding him too.

Amen to that, you have to be a blind fool to not see the style mismatch. You think Mosley was outboxed? Try Floyd vs Margarito lmao.

That's EXACTLY what that fool said..

Tony was nobody to avoid..still isn't.

Had Floyd fougtht Tony instead of the UNDISPUTED WW CHAMPION he would have been accused of ducking Baldomir.
LOL at these mofo bringing up Brian Kenny? OMG...

I didn't know Brian Kenny spoke for the boxing community.

But, yes Floyd should of fought Baldo instead of Zab. And, then fought Marg in Aug of 06. Or fight Marg in the beggining of the year have Zab-Baldo have a rematch and fight the winner.
