I'm 1 of those(of many) that believe that Margarito's cheating ass should have been banned for life & it's true that the way Pacquiao & his people acted in the when it came to the olympic style of drug testing(random)in the 1st Mayweather negotiation's makes people think something that's NOT right is going on..ESPECAILLY WHEN THEY RATHER NOT FIGHT & LOOSE SO MANY MILLIONS OF $$$$$$(around $40 mil)...But to say this fight won't sell is rediculous...1st of all the fight is already a done deal & even if 1 or both are cheaters u can't take away the fact that it should be a good fight since they both are exciting fighters...& With Pinoy(Filipino) fans alone(which is a LOT) this fight will make good numbers & EVERY Pinoy boxing fan is backing Pacquiao & is gonna watch the fight & the same with Mexican's backing Margarito..So even if u disagree(with this fight getting done) & think it's garbage, this fight IS GONNA SELL & it's gonna make good numbers..So I don't think u gonna be laughing much...Comment

Do we assume that Pacquiao takes steroids because he did not to want to be randomly drug tested and let go 30 to 50 million dollars?
Like everthing else the comment has to be put in context. The comment was made after the first round versus Cotto. It was the assistant who asked him, not the trainer. And it appears that the assistant was trying to find out how was Cotto's punching power since Margarito was being totally outboxed the first round. Don't they say that plaster needs to get wet to hardened and that usually happens in the later rounds?
Personally, I think that Roach is playing mental games. Paquiao has had many distractions in training and Margarito seems to be really hungry for this fight.
If Roach was so certain about Margos cheating, why did he allow his fighter to take this fight? It seems to me that Many is the main attraction so they could have picked any other fighter and still make money, they picked Clotey after all.
One thing for sure, Roach seems to be a little concerned about this fight. Normally at this point, he would be predicting a KO in such round of the fight and he is not doing that.
I have a lot respect for Many. Roach is just trying to hype the fight and get in Margos head.Comment

Boxing should be ashamed of having a dirty cheater like Tony to be involved in a fight vs the P4P best right now. he doesnt deserve this attention or the payday hes goin to receive, i hope Manny does him worst than Shane, maybe breaks his jaw completely or crack some ribs.
what he did was beyond a "foul", he couldve killed Cotto that night, Miguel clearly hasnt been the same fighter since... i hope to never see him again after Pacquiao knocks him out.Comment

its funny how the very same Mexicans who bash Floyd 2 death in every thread bring up Pacquiao being on steroids just 2 counter the Margarito hand wrap scandal. They just look ****** because #1 Margarito has been caught trying 2 cheat while Pacquiao has never tested positive 4 anything. & #2 Floyd and his crackhead family really got things started with the whole Pacquiao is on steroids stuff but yet when the Mexicans feel like dissin' Floyd 4 insisting on osdt, they say he was making excuses 2 get out the fight and this is a bunch of b.s.Comment
