Yeah, Taylor definitely took a career's worth of huge punches. I like Abraham and Froch both but it's quite clear neither of them ended it single-handedly, he just had a tendency to get clocked.

Mikkel Kessler: Forced into retirement afer Froch fight.

Jermaine Taylor: Forced into retirement just a year later:

Andre Direll: forced into retirement a year later

On top of that, he is the only man to beat Jean Pascal, who beat the invincible Chad Dawson. What does a Cobra have to do to get respect in this crappy sport? How many young men must he send to the retirement home before people understand?
I shouldn't lose my time replying to such ridiculous claims, but what about Pascal ? Since Pascal was beaten by Froch, he has been better than ever, wins over Diaconu twice, then Dawson.

Stop ****sucking Froch please, his last 3 opponents have turned him into a clown.

He does deserve credit for fighting the best, but he is a walking unching bag. See my sig (and his fights ).

btw, if someone sent Taylor into retirement, it's AA, and it's the same for Dirrell

as for Kessler, it appears his vision trouble goes back before the Froch fight

        your claim is just ridiculous

The Pavlik fights with Taylor were violent, not career-ending but career-shortening. It wasn't one guy who did it.

It was actually Abraham that sent Taylor into retirement, and he might have sent Direll into retirement. Froch lost to Kessler and needed a robbery to win against Dirrell. He isn't even the best in his division, never mind a P4P contender. If he can win the Super Six then he would be in the P4P rankings.

froch-AA could be a more talented, harder hitting version of gatti-ward, really good potential

i hope theyre both angry from coming off of losses-that-weren't-really-losses

Didn't he fight Pascal too? Why is Pascal fighting Hopkins next instead of retiring?

He hasn't forced anyone into retirement at all, Dirrell won't retire, he's just being a *****. Taylor fought on and got knocked out by someone else and Kessler hasn't retired, he's injured. He might not fight again because he has eye problems but he isn't retired. Having said that, he is a good brawler, can take a good punch and is underestimated without a shadow of a doubt.

For the record though, Calzaghe would have schooled him!
