Alexander Povetkin: Glory Lost.
Here we've got a guy 30 years old (not exactly "young"), over 200 amateur fights, Olympic Gold Medalist (as well as repeated European champion), and formidable pro wins (W 12 Chambers, KO 11 Byrd). And he says he's not "ready".
Alexander Povetkin is quite possibly the biggest letdown in professional boxing history.
He is the big train that could have been.
Im not saying he would beat Klitschko. But he has the credentials, and he'd probably challenge Klitschko more so than any other heavyweight in the world. And he wont take the fight.
IBF has dropped him from the rankings.
This is a truly sad day.
Alex Povetkin has no courage, heart whatsoever.
