Why is every1 mocking haye for fightin audley when the hw champ fights derek chisora!

haye should walk through this fight based on natural ability but audley is at least on paper a european title holder who has a lot of physical advantages, bigger, taller, more power.

yet the heavyweight champ of the world sits back and fights derek chisora, a british and commonwealth chump. he shouldnt even be a klitchko sparring partner and isnt cos they get sprott for that whos better

Because Haye refuses to fight the HW champ.

Because Wlad wanted to fight Haye, but Haye chose Audley instead.

Wlad would prefer to be fighting Haye, Povetkin, Valuev, Adamek and several others. Chisora is NOT his first choice, actually Haye is!

Audley Harrison is age 39 while Haye is in his prime at age 30 and Audley has never had a win over a top 25 heavyweight.

There are many people better than Harrison who Haye could be fighting, such as Chagaev, Wladimir, Vitali, etc!

Ok so hypothetically haye ducks klitchsko, the next best thing the hw champ of the world could come up with is del boy derek. read all the statistics you want the fact of the matter is chisora has no statistics and hes not a pedigree boxer like audley (an olympic champion)

what threats whatsoever does chisora bring to the table, answer that question. no matter how **** u think audley is, hes a threat to haye, this is the heavyweight division, he has a punchers chance, derek doesnt even have that

and on the age point of things age is not very important when it comes to the heavyweight decision, however fitness is

            Boxrec rankings:

            Chisora #13

            Audley #40

Audley recently lost to a taxi driver. He does not have a puncher's chance unless Haye stands completely still in front of him and sticks his chin out and leaves his hands by his side. Chisora is a fringe contender. Audley is not and never will be even close to being a fringe contender.

Wlad tried to make fights this year with Haye, Povetkin, Adamek, Solis and Boystov, who all turned him down. He turned to Chisora as a last resort. Haye has not tried to make a fight with anyone other than Audley, since beating Ruiz - who himself was no longer considered a world class fighter and was ranked well outside the top 20 by boxrec at the time.

Boxrec rankings are wrong, any normal boxing fan knows this.

Because the Klitschkos have literally wiped out the top 20 of their division and are just trying to stay active in the latter part of their careers, especially Vitali who will be 40 years old very soon. The only guys they haven't demolished are either too young, too old, unranked, or so scared that their putting their own careers on hold to avoid them.

Say what you want about them, that they're overrated, underrated, but few boxers in any division (much less the chaotic heavyweight division) have so thoroughly dominated the top 20 of their division. Chisora is also a better fighter than Harrison.

Now looks look at Haye, whose in his prime and is riding a boring victory over slow-motion circus freak Valuev and 40 year old John Ruiz, who looked more like he keeled over backwards from exhaustion than like he was actually knocked out. He makes idle threats at the Klitschkos for years, shows up at charity events a Klitschko is at and dares them to fight him, calls them cowards daily for a year, etc, etc, etc. They offer him a ridiculously undeserved 50/50 deal, he simply milks out his British media presence and takes a fight with "Audley Harrison" then announces that he wants to retire in a few months and transition to an acting career.

How can you compare the two situations at all? The Klitschkos fight poor competition because they humiliated all of the good competition. Haye fights poor competition because he's choosing it over strong competition.

If you seriously think that Harrison would have even a 1 in 100 chance of beating Chisora then you're not a normal boxing fan or a boxing fan at all. Chisora would walk all over Harrison.

No rankings are perfect, but boxrec's are more respected than most, and are the only independent rankings that go beyond the top 20.
