I imagine he has post concussion syndrome. There are tests they do for concussions. Some of it relies on the honesty of the athlete, but they can do some tests.

Very strange situation. Considering all the sources leading up to the Ward - Dirrell fight it seemed like Andre was doing whatever he could do to get out of it.

People may say why is he citing a neurological problem rather then a back problem or whatever. Well the Dirrell camp has the perfect story for a nuero problem with the punch Arthur Abraham landed on him.

Although I do think Dirrell wasn't acting after the late punch from AA I really doubt it caused nuerological problems.

According to Shaw in this video, the only way to find out whether Dirrells Neurological problems are valid are through MRI and MRA Tests. Once Dirrell gets well, they will perform another MRI and compare the results with the ones from when he had Neurological problems to find out if they are consistent with his claims. That is the only way to find out the truth i guess.Just have to wait and see.

I honestly don't really care if it's true or not. If he does have issues then I sincerely hope he recovers fully, if Andre doesn't then I hope Showtime deals with the issue appropriately. Issues with the brain don't always show up immediately. Insomnia, headaches, etc. sometimes it takes a little while to begin. I've seen happen to a lot soldiers who have gone through certain traumas. But, myself NOT being a medical professional and NOT having seen his tests, I'm going to refrain from leaping into a judgment.
