I really do not understand how someone can see this fight as boring.

Marquez has granted us some of the most beautifully brutal boxing wars ever, and besides that he's just a wonderful technically gifted boxer to look at.

Lopez is one of the most exciting fighters out there today who's power and vulnerability make him one of my favorites nowadays.

This could be fight of the year, mark my words.

Marquez has been active & I actually am going for him pulling the upset,he is far more technically sound than Lopez!!

Rooting for Marquez to get his last great win and go out on a high note. But Im expecting (like someone else said) a passing of the torch. Not excited to see Marquez get stopped, but holy hell its going to be an exciting fight while it lasts.

You know what this fight is gonna look like? It's gonna look like that old man you walks to the store, gets mugged by some young punk, and is left for dead on the side of the road.

          Lopez by complete domination.

Not only is Rafa past it, but you can make the arguement that he is a BW whos skill allowed him to compete at a weight class (122) he really didn't belong (ala his brother at 135) and now he is being drug up to 126....a class he clearly doesn't belong.

i agree. As long as Juanma doesnt have any mental slip ups like he did against Concepcion he may be able to do it.
But ANY mistake and Marquez can definitely make him pay. thats what makes this fight intriguing to me

I just hope Juanma doesn’t go into this fight overconfident in his power/ability. He has a tendency to get careless when he relies solely on power.

I’m hoping to see a technique in setting up his jab before he unloads with his power shots.

Juanma said he has to go in and fight itelligent, he will box and fight toe to toe with Marquez. He has a trick up his sleeve, he can do both, as a boxer puncher.
