Remember when Pacquiao was also "distracted" in the fight against Barrera?

i mean they made a huge deal out of it no one seems to remember it
even roach complained that manny was taking too long into coming to LA to train
Against Barrera it was ok since he had little to no chance of winning but they must think Tony is crippled or sumthing to pull this stunt in this specific fight
If HBO really cared for this match they shoulda have broadcasted the fight against Garcia, the reason they need to hype this up is because the last memory of Tony we all have is of him getting blasted by Mosley

there is this popular belief from casual fans that tony is somehow ruined by his defeat against mosley, and it woulda been a smart move to have tony on tv destroying some bum like alfonso gomez, even if it was broadcasted from another country

I think most people know now that it is a pattern of Roach or Team Pac camp to come out with that stuff.

It has become very consistent with them. One day you'll hear from an independent reporter that Pac is doing brilliantly and Roach has commented that he's on track and looking better than ever, then the next day Arum will come out with a media statement that Pac is not looking good, is behind, is distracted and that the other guy is supposedly training his heart out and looking like a monster back to his best, usually because he needs to win after coming off some horrible loss, and Pac needs to focus more etc etc......

Then after that we hear that he's been knocking out sparring partners, various other people are saying he's training like a man possessed blah blah blah.

Christ this stuff gets tiring. I'm sick of hearing about it.
