Floyd Patterson, grant it he had a chinny chin chin, but the man was a middleweight KO'ing natural heavies.

Why has no one mentioned Ezzard Charles? He was by far the best of the Light Heavyweights who moved up, and the first to be a lineal Heavyweight champion. Archie Moore, another ATG Light Heavyweight, also had a very respectable career at Heavyweight. And Jersey Joe Walcott would have been a natural Cruiserweight if there had been a Cruiserweight division back then.

He was no more a Middleweight KO'ing natural Heavies than Pacquiao is a Flyweight KOing natural Welters. What weight you start at when you are very young is irrelevant. Patterson was a natural Cruiserweight by the time he fought at Heavyweight (and there was no Cruiserweight division back then, so he was a natural Heavyweight in the context of his time).

Not really that successful at Heavyweight but I was always impressed with the punching power of Herbie Hide. Also Dwight Muhammad Qawi has to be the shortest heavyweight ever. Watching him fight Foreman was weird.

Michael Moorer and Evander Holyfield were natural heavyweights.Saying Holyfield isn't a natural heavyweight is like saying Ali or Joe Louis weren't natural heavyweights. The guys fill out and gain weight as they come up in the sport.

Michael Moorer was a huge light heavyweight,it's quite remarkable that he managed to make that weight for as long as he did.No way in hell did he make that weight without great difficulty.
