I like watching him fight. I think with his speed he would have been a very interesting fighter in the 80s for example, but he won't ever get past povetkin, klitschko, etc, he's just not physically intimidating.

I think he'd beat Haye. Or he could fight for a title at cruiserweight (he came into his last fight at 209 lbs...)

A really good fighter with excellent boxing skills who was made to look much less than he really is by Wlad but he is just too small for the current HW landscape.

Chambers would beat Povetkin in the rematch. Eddie was schooling him early on before he gassed out, but now he comes in 10 pounds lighter and in much better shape. I'd favor Eddie against Adamek as well. Haye would be interesting.

He also did a number on top ranked (by the IBF) contender Derrick Rossey a few years ago via his stoppage win.

Chambers is more or less a Chris Byrd type of heavyweight. He's competitive with some opponents while his lack of size and power make him less competitive against others.

All this talk of Chambers not being big enough for HW is bull**** and ****** excuses, everything to discredit Wlad's win. Chambers did just fine against undefeated Dimitrenko, who is taller and heavier than Wlad, knocking Dimitrenko down several times and hurting him with body shots. He also had enough pop to keep former HW champ Peter away and from walking through him. The Povetkin fight was close and Povetkin is a standout amateur with all sorts of medals including Olympic gold and is still undefeated. If Wlad wasn't around Chambers would have a belt by now, so would Povetkin, Peter would still probably have a strap, and they would all be very competitive against each other. It's just that Klitschkos are so good, not that their competition is bad.

And in terms of Chambers not coming to fight, watch the fight, and not just the highlights. Chambers had the mentality and confidence of a champion coming into the fight, he was determined, bodyslammed Wlad a couple of times, but Wlad really hurt him in the 2nd and almost finished him. From that point on Chambers realized he hasn't faced anyone like Wlad before and that, that's when the defensive side came out and he did pretty good, until the true Wlad showed with 5 seconds left.
