It's as if HBO has any kind of control over the fight.

Simply put, if the fight does happen, it's because Floyd has finally succumbed under pressure. It may be tied in with his court cases, etc. Who knows? It's just silly seeing these announcements as if they have power to control divas.

HBO doesn't think it can "control" floyd and manny fight...

... they just said they wanted to TRY as hard as possible to make it happen... They admitted that Floyd first has to get his **** together, and by getting his **** together, that would include fighting pacquiao... it's the only sensible fight for both parties... they BOTH NEED EACH OTHER EQUALLY - although neither will admit it...

Why would they give up on this fight. It'll most likely be the biggest fight in the history of the sport, in terms of numbers.

Realistically, HBO has very little on the horizon in terms of big money-getting fights. They are forming, but this is the only immediate source of big money.

Pac should threaten Floyd that he will sue him with the roid accusations if he dont fight him. If FLoyd agrees to fight Pac will drop the charges.
