In the run-up to that fight, did Wlad claim to already be an ATG and better than Lewis? That would be a rough equivalent of Khan saying in the run up to a fight with Maidana that he's as good as Mayweather and better than Bradley and Alexander, before he's beaten anyone who is considered a threat.

Khan was a laughing stock after the Prescott loss, not because he lost, but because in the run-up to that fight he had been talking about how great he was and about how he wanted to fight Hatton. If he gets knocked out by Maidana, all his arrogance in the run-up to the fight will certainly make him a laughing stock. People who look past their current opponent and get knocked out always become a laughing stock.

Amir Khan has been talking a lot recently about fighting Floyd Mayweather. Do you think this kid will be laughed at if Maidana sparks him out? I personally think Khan is heading for a fall as Maidana will shatter that glass chin. Will he be the laughing stock of boxing if that happens?
