Well I would say Showtime has a vested interest in Dirrell (I assume his next fight atleast has to be on Showtime) having questions floating around.


Dirrell has a world of talent but if that talent seems fragile (and people want to see him lose) it makes him a more interesting fighter.

Come on now guys, what happened to innocent until proven guilty?

No matter how much I dislike Dirrell, and I've got my reasons, I still think it's unfair to insult him and throw accusations when we do not know for sure if he's lying.

The only way Dirrell's team can calm this storm, is if they release an official statement from a reputable doctor, preferably with a second opinion. I don't think any self-respecting doc would put his name on the line to lie for petty change that poor Dirrell could offer.


At the same time, we shouldn't be letting Ward off the hook here, too. The negotiations weren't moving anywhere because he wouldn't budge on the hometown advantage. And I wouldn't be surprised if they both conspired to throw this fight, and Ward had much more to lose by quitting and would frankly have no excuse, while Dirrell had conveniently just been "injured."

yep, he has to retire either by brain damage or by being a fraud......the doc released him the night of the fight with no signs of a concussion, right? If that's true someone needs to expose the postfight doctor's report, I want to know the truth because when I watched it happen it looked like a good acting job to me
