After seeing this video, I can understand how it is possible for Margarito to not know about the the tampered padding. At one point during the hand wrapping, Garcia put a large, thick, fluffy pad of gauze on Antontio's hand and folded it before applying additional tape on top. You can easily hide something in there without a fighter immediately knowing.

yeah not to mention it takes a while and is very boring so Id would think he would be making conversation as he did in the video not stare at his hands being wrapped..
