For anybody who's ever dabbled in sparring or training with other fighters, you know that if two fighters keep sparring over an extended period of time, the competitive margin shrinks automatically, regardless of the difference in skill. I mean, you know what to expect and you have a decent amount of time to learn what would have otherwise stumped you in an actual bout. And in all Pacman's fights, his opponents always say, "I knew he was fast, but once you get in there, it surprises you", David Diaz for example, youtube it.
I doubt Floyd would even take another fight unless he timed it when Manny has been already scheduled to fight someone else already. I don't think he will be any less skillful for his next fight, we have to see a decline in his past performance to accurately predict this.
