JMM weighed in @ 133.5 for his last lightweight bout.

come on now. JMM is a great in his own right. dude is 37 and still has FOTY skills.
I don't think that weight will play a major role in 140lbs, Marquez skills is much superior than all those fighters I listed so he has a good chance of winning.

        Weight eventually plays a role.

And, it seems for JMM 135 is his limit. He really doesn't belong in that weight-class. He is smaller than everybody there. He just the best just cuz of his skills.

You're an intelligent poster, and I respect a majority of what you post but it's well known on here that you greatly dislike Oscar De La Hoya. I think that affects your opinion about him. I'm not an Oscar fan but I think he has done more in his career compare to Marquez.

We can never tell unless he actually fights in the 140 weight class. 2 years ago nobody expected Pac fighting welterweight. Marquez might be small but he has enough skills to compete with top 140lb fighters.

But, still Pac was in his 20s when he was doing all this weight jumping.

JMM is in his mid 30's.

I might hate Oscar but other credible journalists like Cliff Rold for example don't have Oscar as an ATG.

He just not, it is what it is.

                  Anyways.

                  JMM>Oscar.
