Just like pacquiao. He abandoned golden boy and now they get a chunk of every revenue he's in.

zabala needs to calm down and get a wift of that cash coming in soon if it looks that way. He'll make out good as long as GBP use's the good 'ol milking technique.

I also think canelo signed with zabala because they were going to expand him in the east coast even with him being big in mexico since they do alot of promotions in florida with vazquez jr also.As long as canelo didnt sign with 4,5 other outsiders he should be good unlike chad dawson. In the promo game everybody wants more a piece of you then boxers do in the ring.

I hear Zabala, Jr. is a thief just like his father was. I hear
that he and Maldonado, Jr. are pretty good at robbing there
fighters so I guess this is a little payback???

why is delahoya just trying to sign fighters left and right without even confirming the fighters status in regards to who his promotor is/was? delahoya should be to blame for all this mess, as he did with pacquiao...and im sure with a bunch of other fighters as well...maybe alveraz's original promoter should get some kind of percentage off of alveraz's fight the way delahoya is getting from pacquiaos fights
yeah, you'd think that they'd do their Due Diligence prior to signing the guy, although, a lot of times this stuff happens, sometimes fighters either get dates wrong in disclosure or don't disclose all and this type stuff happens. it just seems to happen with GBP quite a bit, more so than anyone else to be honest.

i think there might be a tactic involved on the legal side of things since this keeps occurring in the GBP operations........... anyone?????
