If there was actual evidence that he used plaster for the cotto & cintron fights, Margs would have been banned and prolly served jail time. I just have to laugh at people that try to defend Margarito and believing that he was using plaster for the very first time against Shane Mosley!

of course I have my doubts, but without real evidence, I cannot say for certain and beyond all doubt that margarito used plaster before the mosley fight.

Thudding punching sounds & not wanting to take off your gloves after other fights may not be admissible evidence, BUT it sure provides DOUBT of innocence...

The punishment should fit the crime. we know margarito cheated (or attempted to cheat) against mosley because he was caught red-handed (or should I say plaster-handed?). we can't punish margarito for cheating against cotto and cintron for something we don't know for certain that he committed.

Yea that's true!! & there are pictures of Margarito celebrating with his gloves off(after defeating Cotto) & 1 could see SAME PINK STAINS threw his wraps that THE INSERTS THAT WERE CONFISCATED AT Mosley fight had!!!! That's enough poof right there!!

Nope pictures have been posted on this very forum of two other boxers(Victor Ortiz, and Diego Corrales) with exact same pink markings on their hand wraps.

Manny Stewart checked his gloves before the Cintron fight and has said the wraps were fine and he destroyed Cintron. Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez both said Margarito did not use tampered wraps. But oh how convinient that it's a bunch of island fairies who wanna make excuses without one single shred of proof.

maybe i expected antonio margarito to give cotto hell with or without any plaster in his hands or brass knuckles i have thought that the tijuana tornado is just one of them hard nosed old school mexican type brawlers that would give anyone fits on any given night.So i dont get all the su****ion that he needed anything in his gloves to beat a fighter with a suspect chin at best.Look at the judah-cotto fight, that left uppercut that rocked cotto was thrown by a fighter that never belonged at 147 in the first place.
