No. I don't consider that cheating. It happens in all of sports. You run out of balance to avoid the hit. You stall when the shotclock is working in your favor. You foul to save time in hopes of having a 4 or 5 point swing. It's taking advantage of a situation, but it's not cheating.

CHeating would be loading your gloves with cement, then hitting someone's balls. That's cheating.
