  • Comments Thread For: Insider Notebook: Pacquiao Camp Concerns, PWill Next?

By Robert Morales - Promoter Bob Arum and trainer Freddie Roach on Wednesday both said Manny Pacquiao was out of focus during his training in his native Philippines, where Pacquiao also serves as a Congressman. But whereas Arum and Roach figure politics have just about everything to do with that, Pacquiao said there is something else on his mind.

All three were on hand at Roach's Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, Calif., where Pacquiao is finishing preparation for his junior middleweight title fight against Antonio Margarito on Nov. 13 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Arum had just finished a television interview and was targeted by a couple of print reporters. After admitting that Pacquiao was not as focused as he should have been in the Philippines, Arum came with a comment that was one of resignation.

"But so what, you know what I mean?" said Arum, who promotes Pacquiao. "There are other things in life other than to be completely focused on boxing. He has other interests and pursuits. That makes him the human being that he is." [Click Here To Read More]

A Cotto fan talking? Paul took that Margarito pressure, came back and won the 12th. He didn't fall on his knees begging for a way out. He didn't get beaten down by Pacquiao and quit. Isn't Cotto at 154 now? What would happen if he fought Paul? He would be carried out on a stretcher. He should stick with the Gomez, Jennings, Foremans and Chavez Jr.'s. Let's see Miguel fight Martinez. He would get starched in 6. Keep hating loser. Paul>Cotto and he doesn't quit like a *****.

with the height and reach that williams have, he should bulk up and add weight and fight as a supermiddleweight or a light heavyweight...i think williams is just draining himself so he can fight in as low as a weight division as possible...

Yeah light heavy? He weighs 162 right now. He's not even a MW.

Manny would whoop Paul's ass....first he would drain his tall ass with a 145 catchweight...then beat the dog **** outta him....Paul aint ALL that to begin with(his Defense is wack and his offense is just a workrate)...then throw in the weight....man, Manny whoops his ass IMO

pacquiao said no. b*tch move in my opinion. hopefully if he dominates margarito his mind & confidence would change. somebody post the top rank video post fight interview after the pac diaz fight. wally matthews asked pacquiao what about a cotto fight & pacquiao started laughing & said ohh no too much.

we all know what happened after that. kos oscar & hatton then cotto.

pac vs pwill would be at MINIMUM FOTY.
