As an attorney, Arum should have better sense than this. He represents Pacquiao, not the other way around. This guy is supposed to be advancing Pac Man's career, and he can't honestly believe that putting his client's reputation and training schedule on the line for probably America's 2nd least popular active politician could do anything but harm Manny.

I think Angle's borderline nuts and just about the worst all-around candidate that's ever been within 10 percentage points of winning any race, but I'd still vote for her over Reid given their respective positions on fundamental issues.

To correct the haphazard writing of this story, however, Reid is the Senate Majority Leader, not the House whip. Double fail. Also, he's not a particularly ******* ********. He was considered a moderate until he became majority leader. He has to tow the party line more now, but he's still not in the left-wing league of say a Barbara Boxer or Russ Feingold.

I love Manny, but not as much as I hate Reid. I'd rather see an Angle/Margo win than a Pac/Reid win. But thanks Arum, I never get tired of adding reasons to my "Why Arum Should Burn in Hell" list.
