it's hard enough when you have full attention during training, imagine if you have to be responsible for an entire province while doing it.

he has a chief of staff to help him but that guy calls him everyday to tell him what's going on so he's still involved.

i hope he wins but won't be surprised if he loses.

    reon looking fine

Honestly I feel the same way, there was always a possibility of course but since Freddy was talking about Pac "missing his job" then his mind is obviously else where and he's not 100% on the fight, even the slightest thing that offsets your mind is bad news going in to a fight.

As you said Margarito is hungry and has got a higher 'reason' to fight then for money because he has to redeem himself and show everyone that he never relied on the plaster.

Plus there's always a chance that things can get even worse for Pac with that guy phoning in from Congress and giving him the news and what not, that's distracting Pac even more and what if something big comes up ?.

Margarito always had a slight chance but things are looking better for him and worse for Pac if the rumours / what Freddy said are true.

          My 2 cents.

agreed on all points bro...when you're trying to hype up a David vs Goliath match, you dont run reports of David being the one getting beat up before the showdown

as for the phone issue you talked about, if he is indeed on-call with his rep, being in the US might be a bad thing...with the time difference, i can imagine that phone ringing in the middle of the night over here

I actually think that Pac losing this fight
would give him the motivation to work harder
in his subsequent fight/s. And I happen to think
that his next fight won't be a rematch with
Marg but the most coveted fight in boxing history
-- May-Pac. I'm also convinced that Floyd would
give it a good consideration next time around.
On the contrary, if Pac wins, I'm actually thinking
that he'd rather retire or take time to decide
when he is going enter the ring again.
