I put Haye by tko/ko
He may be hated for ducking the klitschkos but it doesn't make him a horrible fighter + holyfield was shot what 15 years ago lol?
I am wondering how well Harrison/Haye will do its getting a lot of talk in the papers (compared to normal boxing fights over here). But i was watching tv with my uncle last night who doesn't know boxing at all and the advert for Haye vs Harrison came on..
He was like why the hell is he fighting that joke he sucks..
So it remains to be seen what the fight will makeComment

I made a thread months ago claiming that Haye's next best choice for a big money fight would be Holyfield, and this was before any talk from Holyfield came about. I'm starting to get a reading on Haye's mindset, and the sort of opponents he's after, either big name low risk guys like Holy or Jones, or scary looking characters that the British media can demonify like Valuev or Dimitrenko.
I'm certain he'd do anything possible to wriggle out of a fight with Chagaev, and the hep excuse is the most likely card he's going to play.Comment

I would agree with you on most of that Haye is looking for big money with low risks, but I think we will see the Klit fights happen before he retires.I made a thread months ago claiming that Haye's next best choice for a big money fight would be Holyfield, and this was before any talk from Holyfield came about. He just wants it his way due to his massive ego...Comment

Yeah, it's funny. A few weeks ago I was debating another poster's assertion that Haye's box-office standing in the UK is so established that he could fight trash from now on and not lose any domestic appeal, and I was thinking that the only other seemingly easy fight he could take after Harrison that would maintain the interest of the British public would be...Holyfield, just by dint of his name.
I, too, would not be surprised at all if this fight was made.
That's the logical pick on paper.
But it just wouldn't surprise me at all if Holy outmanned him, walked through some punishment, landed something that shook Haye up and put him away. Holyfield possesses crazy intangibles, whereas Haye is shorter on those IMO.Comment
