LOL i am a fan of Khan but have not been happy he has been talking much

Yes he has been protected from heavy hitters for the last 4 fights or so while he got his confidence back. But lets not pretend he has been facing **** fighters Kotelkini and Paulie are good boxers, if Alexander/Bradley shut them out people would be going crazy.

He now got his confidence back with a new trainer and is now ready to take on a big puncher. His situation is similar to Wlads K hopefully he can come back and dominate like Wlad does now

Note: Theres no reach stat for Maidana on his profile but look these pics who you thinks got the reach advantage, the boxer or the KO artist?

Its gonna play a big part amir will be stronger on the day, he is shaping up VERY well in training, sadly we don't hear a PEEP from Maidana's quarters.

What's he doing, dragging logs up the Andes?

This is the first fight Khan has been in that he has NOT had a hand picked opponent. If Maidana was not the mandatory and Khan could continue to duck as he did this fight would not have been made. Mentally that can not sit well with Khan. However he is a far better boxer than Maidana but is quite open to be hit. I think Khan will get off to a good start and then get tagged and Kod at some point. It is a 50 50 fight.

People keep saying that Khan is in another league compared to Maidana, but there is really no evidence to prove that to be true. Sure he has better "skills" but there is a lot more to being a fighter. Maidana has proven toughness, durability, stamina, heart and power. In a 12 round championship fight you can be sure those intangibles will come into play.

People point to the Corley fight as a reason Khan will win, which is dumb as well. Corley may not be the fighter Khan is but 1) He is left handed and that clearly created a problem for Maidana that the orthodox Khan won't and 2) Corley fought dirty and got into Maidana's head forcing him to fight well below his capabilities.

Khan won't even consider fighting dirty for one second against Maidana and he will get manhandled the way Dirrell was by Froch.

Also, as I said before there is nothing to prove that Khan is that much better than Maidana based on their overall body of work.

One thing you can be sure about though is that Marcos Maidana is light years better than Bredeis Prescott... who had very little problem with Khan's speed and jab.

Khan has too much of a pedigree to lose to Maidana. If Maidana was any good i would have heard of him.
Im sure he hits hard, but that wont be enough with the extra tuition hes been given by roach.

This fight will be the making of khan. The name khan just has that ring to it.....like king khan, Imran Khan, and TuttanKHANmum of Egypt.
