Comments Thread For: Haye's Manager Fires Back: Rubbishes Audley Claims

Adam Booth, manager and trainer of WBA heavyweight champion David Haye, has shot down the recent allegations from Audley Harrison. The 2000 Olympic gold medal winner is claiming that Haye has deliberately interfered with his training camp by requesting him back to London three weeks ahead of their fight.

So basically Adam Booth is confirming they gave Harrison a 'slave contract' forcing him to be in the UK within 18 days of the fight?

This on top of a contract that is 70/30 in favour of David while on top of that there is a rematch clause as well.

So remind me....What did Haye accuse the Klits of again?

I'm with you Rosseboi, Haye and Booth are trying to control everything, including braking their opponents camp. Haye's stock drops as we learn all the b!tch moves him and his team make.

If His stock keep dropping I will have to change his aka to Dave "The b!tch" Haye.

True, trying to get an edge over your opponent is nothing new in boxing, but actively screwing with their training camp is taking things to a new low, and makes me hope that Haye gets rightly criticised in the public eye. Preferably by ex-boxers like Bruno (who's already voiced his complaints about Haye's trash talking).

There are mind games and then there is sabotage. Haye and his team have crossed the line.

**** like this needs to be more publicised. It's not even boxing anymore when it gets to this point. Everything is confidential right? This **** happens in boxing all the time and nobody is allowed to talk about it. This is what seperates the superstars from the real fighters. I preach this **** to casual fans all the time. It's funny it's supposed to be a serious sport with so many risks and and no garauntee rewards. Why is it that David Haye can make such a joke out of it and the fans just follow along?

Butt-Boy Boothie doesn't really refute anything here: he says, "Audley signed the contract." So what did the contract stipulate, Adam?

Haye apparently likes "slave contracts" when he is the one getting the advantages. What a total assh*le.
