Alexander Povetkin: Disgrace

[Who are you?]

I am a huge fan of European Boxing, and at one time I was a fan of Alex Povetkin.

I love many Euro boxers (Klitschkos, Sturm, Huck, Abraham, Boytsov, Pirog etc). These guys are awesome.

Sorry to say but Povetkin is a friggin 100% disgrace. This guy has no balls whatsoever.

He's talking about returning to the amateurs to fight in the Olympics?

Like what the fck dude? This guy is a pro now.

He should be fighting Klitschko!

I would respect Sasha 100% more if he fought Klitschko, even if he got KO'd. Atleast you can say he tried.

This is the biggest wuss-job in boxing that I can remember. Actually, David Haye is pretty bad as well.

Povetkin is wanting to go back to amateurs because he is afraid of Wladimir and Vitali, bottom line.

You can make excuses about his trainer Teddy Atlas all you want, and I agree Teddy is a ******.

But Povetkin has some good wins (Chambers, Byrd etc), and he has some good talent, and this guy simply does not have the balls to back it up.

It makes no sense. How is he going to make money? I think he might just be saying it to get rid of Atlas. Might be trying to ditch him without hurting his feelings.

I kinda feel sorry for Povetkin. Teddy gets into his fighters' heads and destroys their self-esteem and faith in themselves.

Getting rid of that nutcase is a necessity for Povetkin. The sooner the better - Sasha's not getting any younger, time is running out.

Yes. Teddy said he went to Donny LaLonde's apartment with a gun to kill him, after LaLonde let him go as his trainer.

If LaLonde would have been home and come to the door instead of his girlfriend, he would have likely been murdered by Teddy.
