    A few days ago on BoxingScene.com, undefeated junior middleweight contender Vanes Martirosyan challenged former three division champion Shane Mosley to a fight. Vanes issued the challenge after reading a BoxingScene interview with Oscar De La Hoya, where the Golden Boy Promotions President stated that Mosley was ready to face anyone at any time. The challenge didn't end there. As noted below, a exchange broke out when Vanes challenged Mosley directly on his personal Twitter account.

          Idk Vanes is pretty good and he is only 24 and Shane is old but in their primes Shane ko's him in a minute.

              He might not be a name yet but I'd have a hard time believing he wouldn't give Shane a tough fight at this stage in his career since he has problems pulling the trigger. I'd actually like to see this fight.

              Maybe as a co-main event on the next Pac fight in May since he isn't really a big enough name to do this by themselves. Would like Vanes to start getting serious at 154 though and prove his worth against Angulo, Williams, Sergio, Kirkland, Henry, or Cotto.
