I doubt he is trying muscle growth training since he admitted his focus will be his stamina & endurance which he thought was the reason he lost the last fight to The Punisher.

Everyones body is different and I have no idea what weight sergio normally comes in at in training camp.

        But he's 35.

As you get older it does get harder to cut weight. That's one lesson learned from Joan Guzman, who always came in heavy at the beggining of camps, but lately he just doesn't get the weight off like he did when he was younger.

Of course, I reckon sergio probably is a harder worker in training camp than guzman and is much more disciplined. But I'm just sayin

Now we know why Paul Williams asked for the catchweight.

its all in the genes, man. serg is way past the age where it should have been difficult for him to cut weight anyways. im sure thats why he moved up. but i think hes ok at where he's at. we'll see. but i dont see it as an excuse and i think im picking sergio over williams for this one.

Paul has his heart set on 147, I think he figures if he can keep his weight as low as possible this fight, he'd have an easier time cutting down the extra 10 lbs for his next (Pacquiao). He might even be planning to come in lower than 157 and wanted to make sure Sergio wasn't too much heavier than him.

It's all about May and entering the Pacquiao sweepstakes, that's all that CW's about.

What? Dude is a semi pro soccer player and a bicyclist, he can handle it. Most boxers rehydrate 8-12 pounds after weigh in. This means he can weigh as much as 165-169 the day before the fight and still make the weigh in weight. He will actually be losing about 10 pounds in a month which is about .33 pounds per day....it's not that bad at all actually.

Here come all the "Now we know why Paul asked for a catch weight BS".

                  Gotta love NSB.

One minute Sergio's a natuarl 154 Pounder. A week later hes a super middle weight..

I hope Paul knocks him the **** out cold.

Thank you. People know that they just look for anything to get on Paul about.

2 days ago Paul said he would got to 147 for Floyd or Pac.
