Quite frankly, Floyd already knows this. It's why he switched persona's in the first place. And to be even more frank, African-Americans can't complain. I ain't never seen a group of people get ****d, pillaged, enslaved and beaten and when they're finally given their freedom, decide to stick around. It's a shame but just keep watching what's done to your leaders and athletes and maybe, just maybe, one day it'll hammer home that the only solution is to bounce.

no, what im asking is do you think that if he were white that the media and fans would be more underingstanding to his stand on testing or would they still over look the fact that one fighter is refusing to take the test up to the day of the fight. nothing to do with what you said, i made the thread because floyd always says if he were white.... get it now??

i just feel that if he's white he will not be that disrespectful about other people's accomplishments. he doesn't have to feel any kind of oppression or inferiority complex. he'd feel more secure about himself and the people around him. and beside there's a commission who takes care of drug testing so if you have a problem with that you're problem is the commission not your opponent. so what are you supposed to do? disrespect your opponent because you got a problem with the commission? very uncivilized i should say.

I'm with you on that. I can't even imagine a white Floyd Mayweather Jr. He would not be treated the same, as in people would hate him more I think. Floyd catches flack for his piss poor personality and vulgar mouth. If he were white, he would lose almost all of his black fans and probably gain more white fans so that would equal out in a way. I can see a lot of people hating on him saying he is a loud mouth white boy but if he still fought the way he does (a slick counter puncher) I can see him still having some black fans I guess. If Floyd lost the bad guy image and fought anyone and everyone and stopped saying people are nobodies so he won't fight them, he's surely be touted as the best fighter in the workd and have tons more fans......I can guarantee that.

Floyd always states that if he were white he would be treated as the best boxer in the world. Well my question is "IF" Floyd was white would the fans be asking why isn't 7 days enough to cut off testing or would they ask why Manny is taking such a hard stand against testing. Give your opinion as to why race would or would not make a difference.

My opinion is this: Floyd may have a case as long as he is only talking about what he does in the ring, but as soon as you include some of his personal problems add that to a racist rant and you have people hating in you for more than boxing. You have people that don't like you because you have been blessed and you’re still acting very unappreciative at times. So to me in the ring Floyd has a point; if it was based only on in the ring work maybe if he were white he would be acknowledged more. But this is the real world and Floyd outside of the rings is not perfect, so to me with his outside stuff, he gives some people a reason to hate on him. That’s my fav boxer but I call it how I see it. That being said they never promote all the charity he does and homeless feedings he is responsible for.
