    Jeff Lacy vs. Glen Johnson

I was just shooting the bull with some of my friends and we got to thinking about how awesome a fight with Lacy and Johnson would be. Maybe it will happen somewhere in the near future. It wouldn't be the fight of the year but would certainly be entertaining to watch.

Karma for you for thinking about such a good matchup.
As of now I may lean more towards Johnson, because I don't know how Lacy would deal with a fighter who comes at you like a bull for 12 rounds straight. At the same time, I don't know how well Johnson would deal with a fighter who loves a fight like that and has a lot of power.

Yes good match-up and it would be interesting to see how Lacy handled a fighter like Johnson but I do have to say I think Lacy hits harder than Tarver and Jones so who knows.Good idea nonetheless.

How about Lacy-Roy Jones assuming that Jones beats Tarver? That would be sweet.

I would not assume that..... and Lacy and Tarver are homies I don't think they would get it on unless a big payday for both was at stake but then again mcline and bryd are like best buds but again that was for a world title in the HW division.

I don't think he'll get a fight with Jones or Tarver but I think Johnson would be a possibility. We'll see what happens after Calzaghe.

No contest...Lacy beats Johnson, EASILY. I wouldn't even watch this fight. Waste of time. Glen Johnson is the *luckiest* fighter this side of hthe equator. His 15 minutes is up.

Pretty much. The guy has a great chin, but I don't think he could take Lacy's power for 12 rounds. In fact, I don't think anyone at that weight could stand and trade inside with Lacy for too long. It's gonna take a slick boxer to get the job done.
