Margarito is a much bigger money fight than Yuri Foreman and has a style which will make for a better fight. I dont think the "too tall" thing was actually the reason.

its because Yuri is a tall fighter that would use his height + reach advantage.

put it this way: Yuri is tall + a runner. bad style matchup for Pac

Margarito on the other hand; comes forward (practically negating his advantages), looked very unimpressive in his last two fights, and is the bigger pay day between him and Yuri... if i were Pac i would do the same. (not saying its the right thing to do, but it makes sense)
