Why dearth of Black heavyweights?

Its not just heavyweights that Europeans have taken over.

Cruiser, Super Mid, Mid are all dominated by Euros

Yes, maybe some black americans go into the NFL and thats why theres no heavyweights.

But that argument doesnt hold true for the rest of boxing, and smaller divisions

and the fact is Europeans have been owning Americans repeatedly for like 10 years now

Sorry but its true. Europeans have taken over boxing, and this trend will only INCREASE because what we see in AMs now will show itself in pros in 5, 10 yrs time.

Look. Europeans are dominating increasinlgy in every weight class.

So, NBA NFL wont steal US middleweights or super mids, or even cruisers. But still Euros dominate those classes.

Heres the truth:

Euros are simply better at boxing these days. Better skilled & better trained thus they are defeating americans.

There isn't one athletic black HW. They all go to other sports. It's clear as day. When an athletic kid see's Adrian Peterson, KJ, Vick, Lebron James, and Kevin Durant and Anthony on TV they will try to be like them. When the HW's of the past were around all kids wanted to be heavyweight champion; now they see british jokes like Dvid haye, and a 100 year old Holyfield, so they play other sports.

as a kid. berry sanders INSPIRED me to play football. i use to watch him as a kid in AW. anyone will tell you that kids are like sponges. they suck up what they see. when jordan came every young black kid wanted to be like mike & NO LONGER LIKE ALI. my generation of black kids i can honestly say didn't even care about boxing after jordan took off.

not only that but there is a ALL around lack of interest after the 90's not just with the heavyweight division but black fighters have went down in general when it comes to the talent level & selection.

boxing has been through a million eras. NOT ONE eastern European came close to dominating. but what i consider the weakest division of the sport & entire heavyweight history...OH NOW 2 brothers are dominating. typical.

At the end of the day this whole the best black athletes are in other sports excuse to explain away Wlad and Vitali's dominance over the division is a baseless theory explaining why a person who doesn't exist(a current great black HW) isn't in existence and that is just silly.

Someone will come along eventually but he will be a great fighter because he trained his ass off, has talent, and the heart of a champion but not because of his skin color or ethnic background.

i believe the number one fighter @ super mid is ward (a american)

i believe Martinez is the number one guy at mid (none euro)

Cruiser. i have Cunningham as the number one in that division (american)

The reason there is many successful african american athletes is not because african people have better genetics, but the group of africans transported to america to work as ****** does.

This is because, firstly, the slave traders looked for the strongest, fittest looking men and the most healthy, fertile women.

Secondly, the conditions on the boat were terrible, diasease, poor food. Only the healthiest with strong immune systems made it.

Third, the ****** were worked like dogs, and led active lifestyles which developed their bodies. Not saying they evolved, but strong, hardened people who are fit tend to produce children with greater capibilities to be strong, healthy and fit.

So there you have it. If eskimos had been rounded up in the same way, there would be a population of athletic eskimos.

They're all playing basketball and football, black kids are CRAZY athletic. IDK what it is but yea, this is coming from a hispanic person btw. Just go ahead and watch a high school or even a middle school basketball game, I guarantee you the black kid will be the most athletic one on the court.

They say that high cheekbones=high testosterone, and a large amount of male AA's have high cheekbones. People with high testosterone are the ones who build muscle more easily and are generally more athletic.


My little brother is 6'4, 13 years old and 240lbs. I tried to get him interested in boxing but he didn't like it, you know why? Because boxing is TOUGH. Every day you push yourself to the limit, take punches in the face and body, it's tiring. Not only that but you have to have access to a gym, the closest gym is a couple miles away from my house.

Anyways I tried to get him into boxing but he didn't like it and was more interested in basketball. Why? Basketball is fun, all his friends play it and all you need to play is a court and a ball which is pretty common here. It's all on TV as well, basketball is incredibly popular in America, ESPECIALLY amongst the AA community.


All the genetic freaks out there are playing sports that suit their genetics, basketball, football etc. Just look at the size of these guys, they're freaken huge! Lebron James is 6'8 and 265lbs of muscle and is one of the fastest players in the NBA.
