There are great athletes in every race. Sometimes the odd genetic oddity pops up he could be black or white. It will only be a matter of time before there is another great black heavyweight.

No one said he was great, I think you need to work on your reading comprehension. I brough him up in response that even a football reject like Derik Rossy is doing well in boxing (which he isn't, you will all find out that after he gets schoold in the IBF tourney that it takes a little more than just size and athleticism to make it to the top), to explain that the same thing is happening in the east. You have other sport rejects making it big (Valuev), which only dilutes the argument that US HW black talent pool is being diluted by NFL and NBA, since Valuev is a clear example that boxing is not the first choice of sport of Eastern European big athletes either. Do you not understand this?Comment

No, I don't understand because Valuev was down right dreadful. He had zero skill what so ever and built his career off his size. Had Valuev been a regular size heavyweight he would not of accomplished anything, not even on the Rossy level. The kid from Miami University that has turned to boxing might have something to say about your argument though. No one said he was great, I think you need to work on your reading comprehension. Not true. There are elite white fighters, I just don't find most of them exciting and when matched up against an elite black fighter history has told us that blacks more times than not come out on top. I'm just stating facts there, like it or not.Comment

I'll try it again, using simpler analogies this time, maybe it will reach you this time...No, I don't understand because Valuev was down right dreadful. 1st Poster: Look at Rossy, he is an example of the talent that's hiding in the NFL, he didn't even make it into the NFL and just started boxing a couple of years ago and look where he is at. Basically the argument is - NFL is siphoning the US black HW talent pool.
2nd Poster: Look at Valuev, a 2nd string Russian basketball player who didn't start boxing until his mid-20s and became world champ. If he is 2nd string basketball, can you imagine the boxing talent that's being taken away by Russian hockey players and basketball. All the amazing white E. Euro boxers the likes of Ali are plaing basketball and hockey in Russia now, Valuev was a just a basketball scrub and look where he got to.

Do you understand now... should I explain it in some other terms or is the racism blinding your comprehension?Comment

I understand the premise but Valuev had he not been born a monster would not of accomplished anything in boxing. Rossy although he sucks actually has some skill.I'll try it again, using simpler analogies this time, maybe it will reach you this time...

Racist as ****, that's what I thought - Marcianno was white and undefeated and he faced black fighters from the best boxing era (for all the nostalgic racists it was one of the greatest eras). So you are claiming physical superiority of one race over another? Then why are the top powerlifters, strongman competitors, wrestlers white?

So the Klitschkos are not facing the elite? Dmitry Pirog is not facing the elite?

You are racist man, but hey, that's why it troubles you and your ilk so much that two white brothers are controlling the HW division are now figthing for top ATG spots in history. I love it man, love it. You all trying to make excuses for it now - cause you can't handle it. What's your kind's latest excuse - oh that's right, Michael Jordan single handidly ruined the stock of black US HW boxers LOL ****ing jokersComment
