Brave showing by Munroe. He is a very good fighter, just a class below nishioka. I am telling you though, Nishioka's speed and body attack is ridiculous. I am telling you, if Nishioka was a higher weight he would be very highly regarded.

**** Nishioka is pretty damn good like the way he mixed his attacks to the head and body and just his speed is crazy.I was certain Munroe had after 2 because of the way he was breathing so deeply but he showed he has champions heart.Fair play to Munroe very good effort just not on Nishiokas level

Yep man Nishioka was good .Munroe showed plenty of heart man .Think he belongs at world level got everything except lacks a bit of power .Would like to see him against any of the other belt holders .Nishioka's got to be 1 at superbantamweight .

Nishioka was simply amazing. Munroe was pretty resilient. He was hurt numerous times, but every time he got caught with the Nishioka body blows, he fired back. A Fight of the Year candidate for JP boxing I'd say.

Hope Nishioka gets covered in the US and Mexico. Look, he has speed that could give Rafael Marquez trouble. He has defense skills that might neutralize even Daniel Ponce De Leon and Juan Manuel Lopez. Now I wish to see Fernando Montiel come up in weight to face Nishioka. That should be an all out war between Japan and Mexico once again. Nishioka can avenge Hasegawa's KO loss to him.

That's the difference between the domestic scene and world level.Munroe didn't have a real gameplan nor was he willing to take the necessary risks.Munroe had a great 4th round and the Jap started to look tired in there by that point. But Munroe stayed behind his high guard, didn't open up like he should have and allowed the Jap to just pick him apart with those straight left's to his body.

Nishioka is a pretty good fighter.Good handspeed, solid footwork, and,as he showed against Munroe,a very good body puncher. It's a shame his division is so sh^t at the moment. No real options out there in that division.

Man im pissed off, i though Redall woulda won..Nishiokas footwork was very impressive, i thought Rendalls only way to win was to get against the ropes and work inside...

                He'll be back

Absolutely gutted. Munroe is a breath of fresh air in boxing, such a down to earth man, and he really appreciates the oppurtunities he gets through his sport.

Nishioka was the better fighter, a top top class operator and thoroughly deserved the win, but Rendall was by no means embaresed in there, i hope to see him back at championship level soon, and think he would stand a decent chance against any of the other title holders at the weight.

Nishioka impressed me with his footwork and his gameplan was spot on as those accurate body shots really slowed munroe down at times
