That's exactly what I was thinking! That is why Roach will never let him fight Pacquiao. Manny will retire very soon (maybe after this Nov fight if he can't get Floyd Jr in May of 2011) and if Roach put Khan in with Manny, Khan would get dented a second time and they would lose all the momentum that Khan has built up for him so far, against a guy who will retire soon. Not a good business decision at all. Roach may be a lot of things, but he knows best who to keep his fighters away from, and you definitely want to keep Khan away from Manny....

khan's fighting a right handed brawler, so why is he sparring with a fast lefty anyway. Pac's fighting a slow, plodding, come forward puncher. Khan's pitty pat and run style does'nt help pac get ready for margarito.

Medina/Tapia/etc are not quick, and Manny regressed to their level.

Khan will sharpen Manny up, and the guys at wildcard Vanes/Chavez/etc will better match Margo's style leading up to the fight.

They are just trying to get Manny's speed back up is all.

Sparring with Manny will always help Khan, I bet it's helped Tapia and Medina. Khan is weeks away yet, they will tailor his preparation as the fight nears.
