      WHY?

140lbs is the hottest division on the planet at the moment! Why doesn't Floyd take FULL advantage of it and arrange some showdowns with some of the divisions stars!?!

I'll be dissapointed if Floyd moves up out of the 140lb division without actually facing any of the top 5.

I might be wrong... But can you smell the dirty odour of Roy Jones Junior starting to surround Floyd Mayweather?
I think Mayweather should at least stay at 140 until he proves he's the best or fails trying.

Part of the reason i really respect Mayweather is that he's been top dog in every division before he's moved up, but he's obviously not top dog at 140 until he beats the best.

IMO Floyd see's a fighter at 147 who's main weapon is speed, which just wont work against him, there's no way Zab's speed will trouble Mayweather because he's just as fast, if not faster and a hell of a lot more ring intelligent. Mayweather should be trying to make a fight with Hatton and then taking on Judah.

      Or

Looking at it another way, Mayweather knows Judah will take a smaller cut than him and if he doesnt get that fight soon Judah may lose all them titles to someone who wont take chump change against him.

Mayweather needs to be patient (stay at 140)

Remember, once you go up you can't really go down again as RJJ demonstrated. Mayweather just needs to take one less than huge fight (maussa) and agree that after hatton takes a mandatory they will meet. If hatton won't do that, then you can move up to 147, but at least see if hatton's people are willing to build towards a PBF fight anywhere in the US. Besides, there are a lot of expat brits in NYC who would happily jam MSG to support hatton so he would hardly be at a huge disadvantage.

Floyd needs to figure out if hatton is interested in fighting him at all. If he is it could be worth the wait even if it is in britain, which is why I say just have each of them fight to control all the belts (floyd v. massu) and then have the mega fight. If hatton won't agree to that, floyd needs to seek greener pastures

maussa woudl probably prefer hatton cause it would give him at least a shot. I just would imagine hatton would fight a british opponent in manchester this time around.

WHY SHOULD FLOYD WAIT ON HATTON!?
WHY CAN'T FLOYD MOVE TO 147LBS. AND FIGHT FOR THE UNDISPUTED BELT!?
IS IT BECAUSE IF HE DOES THAT, YOU CAN NO LONGER SAY HE HAS TO FACE HATTON TO BE THE MAN OF THE DIVISION!?
While Hatton wants to wait and face mandatories for the IBF, Floyd is moving up and making things happen.
What good is a WBC mandatory going to do for Floyd?
I swear the same people saying this are the same people who bash Floyd for recently taking on lower level opponents.
I heard Hatton being interviewed on BBC1 radio about a month ago, and when asked who would he like to fight next the most... He said Floyd Mayweather.

I'm not sure where you've heard this information, "HATTON DOESN'T WANT FLOYD YET!" - But what I heard came straight from the horses mouth.

Hatton's never *****-footed around before and shouted his mouth out... Calling out guy's he has no intention of fighting... In fact he's done quite the opposite.

So if Hatton and his trainer Billy Graham keep saying on Radio and tv that they want to fight Floyd Mayweather... Then That suggests to me that they do.

Billy Graham even said that he'd love the Mayweather fight more than anything else, and without giving too much away he explained that Hatton's style would be perfect to beat Mayweather, "Educated Pressure" were his exact words.

How is hatton on the downside when he has just won the biggest fight of his career? i suggest you only post when you're not smoking that strange stuff. i think Hatton deserves a chance to prove himself once again.

Why doesn't Graham or Warren describe how they want to fight Mayweather ASAP or in NYC. These coded requests to fight Mayweather simply do not seem genuine. Mayweather needs to make sure such genuine interest exists before making a long term commitment to this division
