At Hilton Hotel in Warsaw, Poland, local light heavyweight Dawid Kostecki (35-1, 24 KOs) tuned up before bigger challenges with an easy fourth-round TKO over Trinidad-based Guyanese Sean Corbin (14-3, 10 KOs). WBC #3, WBA #5 and IBF #9 Kostecki rocked his opponent in the second with a major right hook and dropped him badly with the same punch in the fourth. Corbin barely got up into an upright stance only to be waved off by referee Daneil Van de Viele at 2:51 of the round. Amazingly, the Pole captured a vacant WBC Baltic title in this fight even though Trinidad is located in Caribbean Sea, not in Baltic.
