People talking about about Cotto coming in too big for Castillo must not know how big Castillo likes coming into fights. Who wins? I don't know.

You’re right Castillo comes in big and this weight would probably suit him more, but I think a lot of Cotto and though I don't think its a fore gone conclusion, I think he would outbox Castillo to get a UD but Castillo will definitely have his moments with his pressure and work rate.

          What a great matchup!

I think Corrales hits alot harder than Cotto and I would feel more comfortable with my boy JL in the ring with Cotto as opposed to Diego.

I like JL by stoppage, if you are going to beat JL in a brawl you need unique firepower, Chico has unique firepower, I dont believe Cotto does and would wonder what the **** he had gotten himself into in the later rounds.

I pick Cotto by UD or late Ko...Cotto has a good defense and boxing skills. Castillo is more a of a brawler who doesn't use his jab enough and does not have a good defense. Cotto would take advatage of that and land some combos. Lights out JLC.

              hmm

Cotto would not be too big for Castillo. Castillo himself comes into fights at 155 lbs. Cotto comes in at 157-158. Also, Castillo would have an additional advantage fighting at 140 because Cotto struggles to make that weight while Castillo would have some relief not having to make 135 lbs.

Cotto would NOT be outboxing Castillo either. Corrales tried at times and was not very successful. Casamayor couldn't keep it up and he's a better BOXER than Cotto. Also, Castillo made Floyd his ***** in their 1st fight and no way is Cotto a better boxer than Floyd.

If Castillo isn't too far over the hill from his waring style, then this fight might very well look like Margarito-Cintron.

It is nice to see someone remembering Castillo beating Mayweather.Castillo by UD over Cotto.

Castillo would f**k cotto up plain and simple. Cotto is okay no doubt but hasnt fought somone that will test his chin and skills as much as castillo. Castillo been hit hard by corrales already,he will take what cotto has to offer and sto him. But where probably on our way to a corrales/castillo trilogy now so i dont see it happening anytime soon (if it happens)but he has talked that cotto or floyd is his first pick to fight at 140..i think he mentioned Hatton also.

It would be a good match up but Castillo would win this fight.

I cant understand this big deal about Cotto strength, he's never really shown anything that would suggest he's any stronger than Castillo, i'd say Castillo would be the tougher, stronger fighter if they fought at 140.

Both Corrales and Castillo are huge for their weights, they are natural welterweights on Slim Fast. Either way, Cotto would beat the living **** of both of them. It'd be a good fight like the Pinto one, with Cotto coming with a KO around the 6th.
