BOB ARUM: This is the second time I have endured a typhoon in the Philippines. The first was last year when I visited Manny before he fought Miguel Cotto. It is simply the typhoon season. What is a typhoon? It is the same as a hurricane, except in Asia they call it a typhoon but to me it looks and acts the same. The winds are strong, the rains came down but the eye of the storm was about 150 miles away from where we were so all in all it wasn’t too bad. Manny, the first day I was there, looked sort of out of shape and sluggish but by the time I left he was looking like the old Manny Pacquiao. There is great spirit in that camp and everybody is pulling together for victory.

It's hard going from three rounds to twelve rounds. If this goes deep, look for a fight. I would be even more confident of an upset, except for Dunne.

What's wrong with this picture? Rigondeaux is no ordinary fighter. And Ronnie is bragging on this? He's 30 years old with only seven pro fights against C class competition. This cannot be a good thing even if he didn't break a sweat. The real question is, how much does Cordoba have left after Dunne?

This guy Rigo has anything you could ask for, the only thing he doesnt have is experience as a pro. But he is unbelievable talented, hes not a rusher with defense faults like manny other good amateurs and hes verry professional with his attitude, hes disciplined, i think hes even better than Gamboa. He is incredible fast and has power also, like i said he has it all! Im shure the huge step up will not be much of a problem for him. With Ronnie Shields he also has a decent trainer.

Gamboa could never beat rigo in the amateurs, in the pros im not sure but it would be a hell of a fight to watch

Rigo could fight that ducker named Abner Mares, who chased Juanma, to up his career than he avoided him by moving down in weight.

Guillermo Rigondeaux IS NICE with it. I will enjoy watching this fight on the undercard. Will be interesting to see how he does against someone with so much more professional experience.
