My personal pick for bravest ever performance by a British Isles prizefighter - Owen shrugged off the ridicule and dismissal he met upon arriving in Los Angeles, made his way to the ring in that hate-filled hellhole of an Auditorium unphased, with no fear, fought his heart out and won a big share of rounds off the Great Lupe Pintor.
