what about the reports by the press back in 86 that tyson was getting beat up in sparring by heavyweight prospect mike williams. Anybody hear these.

Cant help mate sori, im hitting the Tyson dinner speech thing on Nov 6th and i get to ask him a question and get a photo too. Havent heard the Friday Ahunyaha stories, what happened?

Oliver McCall was a regular sparring partner for Tyson back in the late 80's-early 90's I believe and I would hear him giving Tyson good workouts because he was tough as nails..but I saw a vid of one of their sessions and Tyson KO'd him with a body shot..

Dude ask him did any of his sparring partners ever dominate him when he was with rooney . Thats what i would ask because apparently his sparring partner a young heavyweight prospect mike williams dominated tyson in sparring so much that they sacked him .

No but he was considered a heavyweight prospect back in 87 and he told ring magazine that he dominated tyson so much in sparring that rooney sacked him . Afterwards he then went on too loose a split decision too tim witherspoon and was knocked out by buster douglas on the undercard of the tyson spinks fight i think.

he didnt knock him with a body shot . He made him quit with a shot to his hip bone.
