Haye vs Klitschko will happen eventually, but in the meantime Haye vs Harrison is a fight I want to see. Firstly, it will give A-Force a chance at capturing the WBA title. Secondly, British boxing needs a big fight like this to rejuvenate the sport in this nation.

As a Brit, I'm intrigued at the thought of Haye vs Harrison. I can see why non-Britons may be critical of the fight, but then again, the HW division has been lacklustre for years...one British centric fight isn't going to change anything.

Thus I would be a hypocrite if I hated upon Haye, yet supported Haye vs Harrison. As long as Haye fights a Klitschko before he retires then all is good. If he doesn't history will be his judge.

Well, just as I suspected, most Brits don't buy into the hype Haye is selling. Let's see if that forces him to finally commit in 2011..

Okay, you would be. I still think its something thats exciting for British boxing but not good for it and not much of a challenge I still think a fight versus the Chisora/Sexton winner may have been better.

Harrison/Haye came about as the Magnificent 7 night was made and no doubt Warren had probably discussed the winner of that bout facing Wlad. So theres a lot of politics to the whole game.

In fact its fight nights like the Magnificent 7 that can kickstart boxing in the UK better than a one-off pantomime like Haye/Harrison.

So I guess I never really supported it but understood the good intentions behind it and on top of all that it gave me more reason to hate Haye. Looking back I think a fight versus the likes of Chagaev would have been good in order to clear up the whole mando situation with the WBA for Haye.

That way he could actually go gunning for a Klitschko with some ammunition, given that Chagaev had faced Wlad and lost giving Vitali the justification (in his mind) to duck him.

I think most true boxing fans in Britain have sussed Haye's bull***** by now. Just a few who still argue against blatant fact (shout out to Mr Blobby) who will defend his every action. And casual fans who buy into the hype.
