3 matches for Bute in 2011

Just saw Bute's press-conference and he said that his staff is planning, a 2011 year with 3 matches. He said that, they are close in agreeing a deal with Kelly Pavlik. The other 2 names, will possibly be revealed in a few weeks.

man bute had some lousy opponents this year (not entirely his fault though)

    andrade, miranda and brinkley...

if he secures pavlik for next year bute will finally get the chance to prove himself

Neither Andrade nor Miranda were lousy opponents. Miranda is always a very tough and dangerous guy and people were screaming for the Andrade rematch after the controvery of the first fight, which Bute erased with the first stoppage of Andrade's career. You can say he should have challenged Pascal after the Dawson fight but, meh, I think that fights definitely going to happen sometime down the line. The demand for it is simply too big.

miranda is shot to bits...everybody was picking bute to KO him in the first 5 rounds including me...and what happens...miranda taunts bute to hit him flush suggesting he cant hurt him and gets kayoed 30 secs after that...

andrade lost every round against bute in their first fight but had him seriously hurt in the last...that was a win for andrade...KOing andrade is admirable sure but andrade isnt a good fighter by any means. his best win was stieglitz who should praise heaven and jesus for ever winning a world title

theres simply no one for bute to fight until the super six ends so moving up really isnt a bad idea

          Get off those nuts.

Boxing must really be in the ****ter if a sissy like Bute has nutt-huggers like you.

Bute won't go near the winner of the super 6.

I wouldn't say Miranda is shot. He's just a very limited fighter who's lost against every top opponent he's faced. That doesn't mean he isn't a dangerous guy though.

As for Andrade, yes I agree he's no great shakes, but due to the controversy of the first fight it was a rematch Bute had to take, to silence the critics. Many people thought he wouldn't take it, but he did, and won in emphatic fashion. It was a great performance.

I don't know much about Brinkley, so I won't comment on that.

miranda at middleweight was a beast man...a freakin beast
unreal punching power and effective pressure were his traits...he is definitely not the same fighter that broke abraham's jaw

dont remember many people thinking andrade could take it...some felt he had a punchers chance but then again no one expected him to go down let alone knocked out by bute..

its suprising brinkley actually did better than miranda and andrade against bute, two fighters who were at some time regarded as major prospects with big promotional companies behind them. brinkley actually won a couple of rounds against bute by using his jab...miranda and andrade didnt win a single round IMO. brinkley also hasnt faced nearly as good opposition

Brinkley was defense minded and was moving his head, that's why

anyway, Bute knocked him out 3 times in one fight
