yeah those are durable fighters that would give him a lot of problems atop the ring. I wonder who rocky is fighting next.

I see juan fighting again despite his college degree, he just have to accept that juan manuel is one of the best fighters of this era and that there's shame in losing against him twice despite the fact that he called him an old champion lol.

The winner of this diaz-juarez fight can climb his way back to a championship bout. I think juan beats rocky by decision.

if is that the case why canada doesn't have as many champions as Mexico ?

they are next to the border .. they are not a third world country ..

not even the states has as many champs as we at the moment.. why is that ?

dont forget Boxing is NOT our NATIONAL SPORT is Soccer and we suck at it..

is not about exposure is about be able to fight , most of the filipino prospects get extremely hype in their early career(if not all of them)by the pinoy media , at the end they all get knock the f@ck out ,sad but true... not because you have a ASIAN PACIFIC BLAH BLAH CHAMPIONSHIP BELT they are ready for the real fights is just not the same level of competition .

take you dumb a$$ excuses somewhere else lol!
You both have a point. Being at the border doesn't mean more successful boxers as in the case of Canada. Perhaps, boxing may not be as popular in Canada as it is in the UK, Philippines or Mexico. But you also can't deny that there are more excellent fighters in the Philippines that are deprived of the proper exposure. It's about the cultures passion for the sport. Philippines bring more boxers that any other country in the Asian Pacific such a Japan, Korea, CHina, Indonesia etc...Besides, there's really no one right now from Mexico that's making a lot of noise. Mexico's top rated fighter is an aging Marquez who's expected to exit the top 10 in the next year. Guys like Angulo, Alvarez, and other up an comers haven't really beaten anyone other than tomatoes as well. Things you should agree on:
              1. There are definitely a lot more Mexican fighters that Canadians in spite of both being borders of the US.
              2. There's a high probability that there would have been more FIlipino fighters know to us if the Philippines wasn't on the other side of the planet.

Dude.. give these Filipinos the right training and nutrition since most of them are deprived from these because of FINANCIAL PROBLEMS... This is the reason why many Filipino boxers accepts word title fights at the early stage of their career... all because of money...

But I tell you.. Filipinos can match Puerto Rico, Mexico and the others... A perfect example is Pacman... he has a good trainer and a good conditioning coach.. you can also check out Donaire...

I tell you Filipinos has a good raw talent in boxing... they just need the right people to mold it...

More & more lame sad excuses ...now throwing packy into the mix lol ,, pacquiao is unique ! Fighters like pacquiao come only once every decade ,and probably the best example that if you really wanna do something you can achieve it by working hard , not because of nutrition or conditioning lol?

In other words pacquiao do the right thing by getting the f@ck out of the filipines ,, he knew his full potential wasn't reach and want it to learn more to be a better fighter ,, note : don't forget pacquiao was already a world champion when Freddie start training him .

Bernabe concepcion, menaprum , gorres , bautista , kid terrible , banal,,,they all did the same as pacquiao and never achieve greatnes , even with great nutrition and conditioning and a great trainer in some cases (they all were suppost to be better than manny ,before they got ktfo)
Philipines have talent but is limited ,the real problem is management in most cases..
                  Should I keep going ?
