It astonishes me that people can still bet on a guy who hasnt looked good in years and has lost to mediocre opposition.

Nowadays.....in ta heavyweight divison, all you need to be champ is power, and ta ability to take ta otha guys punches. and o ya, stamina(WLAD!!!!!). nyhahahahaha.

Cmon, tis is ta heavyweights. There aint no Floyd or Winky or BHop defenses here. Most of ta fights end in ta earlier rounds and decisions barely happen. That bein said, a perfect punch from Peter in round 1 could finish off Wlad! Sam Peter has ta needed things to be champ.

I KNOW WHACHU THINKING!!!!!!!!! What bout David Tua? LOL! **** outta here, Lennox Lewis retired. LOL. Seriously though, I miss Lenox kinda. Lenox really is ta best.

don't be so astonished. The guys that beat Wlad are all better than anyone Peter has faced. I'm not guaranteeing a win by Wlad, but that fact alone gives me confidence to bet.

What gives me confidence in Peter is that an overweight beer-bellied sem-retired golfer (Corrie Sanders)shattered Wlads chin and confidence.

By the way, I wouldnt pick any of the people that beat Wlad to beat Peter. And by the way, none of the people that beat Wlad have gone on to bigger and better things. Thats very tell-tell if you ask me.

Corrie Sanders was semi retired, however possessed some of the quickest hands in the division, and he could thump too. Brewster is still a champ, Sanders got a title shot(lol, i dont know how) after KO'ing Wlad, but that Purrity guy, probably retired or something.

I gotta agree there, Sanders was deceptively fast and powerful. But still he didnt take boxing too seriously.

He in my opinion did well against Vitali but took too much punishment.

Sam Peter has displayed great punching power, and that's it. He hasn't fought anyone yet but should have a punchers chance against anyone in the division. Having said that, history has proven punching power may get you a title shot, and even a title, but it has never been enough to maintain a champion. I think I already know what to expect from Peter's career.

It is Wladimir that I'm most interested in seeing. I'm not concerned with Wladimir's skills, he is a far better boxer and much more experienced than Peter. This will be a test of Wlad's confidence. If Wlad is confident, he should make Peter look like a school boy, if not, he may end the fight on his back.
